Alexandra discovered her passion for event planning while working as a Marketing Assistant for an interior design company. Much of her role centered around planning and coordinating trade shows, where she fell in love with creating memorable experiences and discovered her passion for the events industry.

After eight years in the trade show industry, Alexandra was ready for a new challenge. She transitioned into special events to expand her expertise, spending the next two years developing new planning systems and refining her event management skills. During this time, she successfully planned and executed a variety of large-scale events, including a wedding, a block party on Georgia Street in Downtown Indianapolis, and a major community event that welcomed more than 1,800 guests.

The Waitlist Agency was officially founded. Finding the perfect name wasn't easy—Alexandra wanted something rooted in the event industry while reflecting an elevated experience. After searching through countless event-related terms, one word stood out at the very end of the list: Waitlist. It perfectly captured the exclusivity, anticipation, and unforgettable experiences the brand was created to deliver.

The Waitlist Agency celebrates its second anniversary. In just two years, the agency has produced more than 20 events, including weddings, immersive experiences, curated dinners, corporate gatherings, and signature celebrations—continuing its mission of creating experiences people can't stop talking about.
